    Stmt to select radio button does not work.

    Hi,

    The following code should select a radio button. It works fine.

    this.Delete.HtmlColumn1.Folder.Select("my_subfolde r")

    However following code does not work.

    string sFolder = "this.Delete.HtmlColumn1"
    @sFolder.Select("my_subfolder")

    Any inputs ?

    Regards.

    Re: Stmt to select radio button does not work.

    Hi Yemul,
    U cannot use a string for a window.There's a datatype window. ucan use it and it will work..try this
    window sFolder = this.Delete.HtmlColumn1
    sFolder.Select("my_subfolder")

    @ operator cannot be used in the way u have used..it will search for a variable with the value present in the string succeding 2
    for example..
    String a="qqqq"
    String b="a"
    now if i specify as @b the value will be "qqqq"
    hope this helps u..
    regards,
    rajesh

    You can do the following

    WINDOW w = this.Delete.HtmlColumn1.Folder
    w.Select ("my_subfolder")

    The reference operator "@" is used to convert a string to a real object.

    For example:

    string s1 = "this"
    string s2 = "delete"
    string s3 = "HtmlColumn1"
    string s4 = "Folder"
    string s5 = "Select"

    @s1.@s2.@s3.@s4.@(s5) ("my_subfoloder")

    This will also work

    Hope this helps
