    Stack Overflow

Who out there every have this problem?

My testcase has a windiw which has many nested level (more than six of them). When ever I run into this window, I get this message . Is there any way to get around it?

    Thank you in advance!

    Just curious...

Can you map any of the levels to ignore?
ie if the levels are custom classes (I'm only guessing) you can class map them to ignore. This way the recorder will just not worry about these levels.

Also you can always change the of this window to the following: "#1[CustomClass]/#1[CustomClass]/#1[CustomClass]/#1[CustomClass]/#1[CustomClass]/"
This will force the agent to skip these levels, but you loose some functionality like being able to SetActive () etc...

    Just a workaround....

"if it doesn't work.... Workaround it "

    Re: Stack Overflow

You could also try to classmap the custom classes to "LookUnder". This option is not listed in the dropdown and must be manually entered in. This allows the agent to try to detect objects below the nested levels. You will probably need to try varying combinations of ignore and lookunder before it works (if it is going to work).

    Cheers,

    no no no....

that declaration with the "/" in it, you place in the window declaration in the tag.

You basically modify the tag on your own.

Can you paste in the declaration of the window...

Don't forget to add the [ code] and [/ code] tags before and after the code. (note take out the extra space I added before the c in code

    Re: Stack Overflow

    Thank you, AJ.

I did try to map those customwin but after that the silk cannot recognize any thing. I need those window to do my testing.

I am not quit sure how to use your work around. I tried it this way:

    AcrobatChild.#1[CustomClass].#1[CustomClass].#1[CustomClass].MainViewArea.Click (1, 55, 66)

    or

    AcrobatChild./#1[CustomClass]/#1[CustomClass]/#1[CustomClass]/MainViewArea.Click (1, 55, 66)

But it does not work .
