    SYS_GetVersion() and Stack Overflow ...

    Hi There:
    I am using SIlk Test 5.5 SP2 and using SYS_GetVersion() in my window declarations to get the OS Version and branch depending on the OS version. I am getting a stack overflow when using this function. Is there a workaround that anyone is aware of?

    SYS_GetName() returns the name of the o/s instead of the version. Will that work?

    Re: SYS_GetVersion() and Stack Overflow ...

    Stack overflows are almost always caused by an inadvertent recursive call. Step into your code in debug mode and watch what it does.

    You might also consider posting under the same thread instead of starting a new one each time; that way returned comments won't be scattered all over the place.
