    Multitag ...

    [-] CustomWin MMCView
    [-] msw multitag "[AfxFrameOrView42u]$59648" //Windows NT and 2000
    [ ] "[MMCViewWindow]$59648" //Windows XP

if I have the declaration the control is not getting recognized on XP

if I have the following the control is not getting recognized on Windows NT and 2000
    [-] CustomWin MMCView
    [-] msw multitag "[MMCViewWindow]$59648" //Windows XP
    [ ]"[AfxFrameOrView42u]$59648" //Windows NT and 2000

How can I merge these two tags?

I have the same issue with mmc. You have to have 2 declarations and use gui specifiers. You will have to have SilkTest 5.5 SPx to be compatible with XP.

    Tony:
I wrote a function called GetTag() and was able to workaround the problem. But if I do record actions the identifiers are dynamic. Does XP has a different GUI specifier other tham msw?

    Re: Multitag ...

msw is generic for all windows o/s's. To be specific to XP, use mswxp. See GUI Specifiers in Silk Help for a complete listing of specifiers.
