    sos

    Hey guys,

Is there any way to transform Silk's *.res file into nice and beautiful txt file (ideally saving layout, all the colors and icons)?

    Thanks in advance!

Another option is to write yourself some routines that spit your results out as HTML.

Thank you very much for the reply. HTML is good, but - too much troubles for most of the cases I am asking about text format, because friend of mine mentioned once that she saw some kind of tool or script (here, at this forum or at the library) witch can transform res files into something readable for managers Will be really glad if somebody knows something about it.

Might want to look up the ResExportOnClose function and put it into your ScriptEnter.

    Re: sos

run resexport when you run the script and convert the results to html using the attached function give the exported .rex file as a parameter to the function.
remember when exporting the results do not export the testdata field because if the testdata is more than one field then the function will fail. or you can modify the function to make it handle that case. Let me know if you do. also make sure that when you export the result export the header information so that functions will know how many columns it needs to to create in the HTML file

Function is attached in the file

There is logclass available in the downloads section which does what you require. There are also many posts on this same topic.

    Thanks and Regards,
