    EXCEL from .dll

    Hi all,

    is there a way to access EXCEL via 4Test's capability to call DLL functions?

    You just have to use the DB functions in silk. They will let you do stuff with Excel.

    Yeah, I know that, but you can't do many things that would be interesting, like marking cells with red color, etc.

    What you can do is save the excel spreadsheet as HTML. It will actually be an XML that you can use SilkTest to access and edit to formatting of particular cells. Once you figure out the XML structure it is pretty easy to edit the file or create one from scratch for that matter
