I am running silktest 5.3 on Windows 98/NT. Now I want to run silktest on UNIX/Linux. I format, partition and delete windows 98 and install Red Hat Linux and GNOME desktop system on laptop. When I am starting machine I could not see GNOME desktop. There comes login for root user. I create another user but GNOME desktop still not available. I Any Suggestion.....?
Last time I checked there was no Linux version of SilkTest. The only UNIX version you can get are for Solaris, HP/UX and AIX. Because of the way SilkTest hooks into the OS there needs to be a new build for every version of every OS (on UNIX) and Segue have never done a port to Linux.
I tried but fail. Then I reboot system and now another login coming as Enter runlevel:. I do not know what the runlevel is. If I enter 1 or 2 then error message coming "no more proccess left". I could not find anything in help section. Any suggestion....?
i guess ur system had not booted up properly, or u have not installed Linux properly, Can u send me the log of ur installation..i can correct it for u...
besides once the system boots up....wait for the login screen to show up...
