Re: Automating PDF Form controls in the browser

If you hand code the actions will it play back OK? Sometimes recording won't work, but playing back commands works like a charm.

No, hand coding doesn't work either.

Re: Automating PDF Form controls in the browser

I tried hand coding a few examples from the file you posted. Good news is that you can make some things work. Bad news is that you are going to need to hand code everything. If you're interested in additional help on this, e-mail me. Neither SilkTest nor WinRunner was able to recognize anything about these controls out of the box

Automating PDF Form controls in the browser

    Hi,

I've attached a simple from designed in Acrobat. When I try to declare this page, which I open in the browser, I get nothing but a bunch of 'CustomWin' tags; which of course I expected.

How do I declare each control so that when my browser encounters another PDF form - maybe a bit different, but with the same standard controls - it will allow me to interact with them? When I try to record actions on the CustomWins, Silk and/or browser freezes and I have to kill processes in task manager.

    Thanks.
