    SilkTest (partner.exe) doesn\'t load.

    Hello,

To load SilkTest SP2, I uninstalled SilkTest (without SP1) and loaded SP2 but realized that SilkTest stopped working. Whenever I click on SilkTest option through Program Files or click on partner.exe from Explorer, SilkTest doesn't start. In TaskManager, partner.exe is not displayed.

I tried installing original SilkTest 5.5, then installing SP1 and finally SP2, but the problem persists.

It actually checks SilkMeter 'cause if someone else is already opened SilkTest then it shows me License Error.

    Can someone help?

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: SilkTest (partner.exe) doesn\'t load.

For some reason, after installing SP2, I rebooted and couldn't use SilkTest. Rebooted again, and then everything worked fine. Dunno if this is the cause of your problem.

Check your PATH settings (I logged a bug related to that). Check your registry settings. Check for stray files on your computer.

When you uninstalled SilkTest initially, had you checked out a temporary license file from the SilkMeter server?
