afxwnd42 object and datepicker
Im trying to automate an application using silk test.
This app has a lot of afxwnd42 objects.
For e.g date picker is an afxwnd42 type of object.
Can anybody help me with some methods to work on such objects?
Another problem is that the window is being recognised as DialogBox.
My window declaration looks like this:
[-] window DialogBox NewToDo
[ ] tag "New To Do"
[ ] parent PalmDesktop41Beta
[-] DialogBox General
[-] multitag "General"
[ ] "$0"
[-] CustomWin CellPicker
[-] msw multitag "[AfxWnd42]Cell Picker"
[ ] "[AfxWnd42]$1000"
[-] CustomWin PalmUIDatePicker
[-] msw multitag "[AfxWnd42]PalmUIDatePicker"
[ ] "[AfxWnd42]$6154"
Re: afxwnd42 object and datepicker
For the "afx" controls: Enable the ActiveX extension for your browser in the Extension Enabler, then in Options Extensions, then restart the Agent and then the browser, then do a GetPropertyList() on the "afx" controls, and hopefully you can get a list back. Then do a GetProperty on each property in the list. Hopefully you will find that one of the properties has HTML stored in it, so you can then parse that out to get the state information you need.
As for the DialogBox windows -- obviously NewToDo is indeed a DialogBox. Is it in fact a problem that "General" is recognized as a DialogBox?
