    Try,

    Object.Click(2)

    Click(2) will click right mouse button on the object.

    Hi,

    Thanks Prasad..

    If I click on mouse right button on "Notepad", I will get a popup menu. Now can you (or anyone) tell
    me how to select & click on any of these items.

    Regards,

    Sushobhan

    decare a Class as

    Winclass rightmenu : PopupMenu // point the position where you click to invoke
    tag "$PopupMenu/({Point.x}, {Point.y})"
    POINT Point
    MenuItem Cut
    tag "Cut"
    MenuItem Copy
    tag "Copy"

    then create an instance for the winclass rightmenu
    rightmenu rMenu

    POINT p = Cursor.GetPosition()

    rMenu.point ={p.x,p.y}
    rMenu.cut.Pick()

    You can use all popupmenu methods & Properties for this menu

    With reagrds,

    I dont think this is such a good idea. The problem with this method is that the location of the context menu is hardcoded in the declaration of the window [tag "$PopupMenu/({Point.x}, {Point.y})"]
    Now for the context menu which are independant of the location where the mouse cursor is (taking the e.g. Notepad right click menu, is avaiable at all locations in the editor window ) the number of declrations would have to be enormous.
    The best way is to use the "PopupSelect" method. In this method the first two parameters are the location at which u need the mouse to be to invoke the popup menu. So u dont need to additionaly create a declaration for this.
    Note: One very important point, try creating a declration for a popup menu (right click menu) using the record window declaration from Silk. I guess u will see that it is almost impossible to do so. So creating a declaration for it manually is not worth the effort.

    Re: Can use mouse right click in SilkTest

    The points are not hard coded in the declaration so you would only need one declaration. You define the point coordinates in your script i.e. RightMenu.Point = {50,50}

    and then when you do the RightMenu.Cut.Pick() Silk will right click at 50,50 and pick the Cut menu item.

    I've found that if you use the Record Identifiers, Silk will often see the popup menu items.

    One correction to the rightmenu class decl.
    POINT Point
    tag "$PopupMenu/({Point.x},{Point.y})"
