    Problem with buttons in Dialog box

    Hi,

    this is a problem related to Dialogboxes.

    In Microsoft excel, if a sheet contains some macros,
    upon opening this sheet, a dialogbox is displayed with 3 buttons.
    Disable Macro, Enable Macro and Cancel.

    Silktest does not recognise these buttons. How do I make it recognise and record these buttons?

    Is there a workaround or any defined documentation?

    Please help,

    Regards,
    rajeevhr@vsnl.com

    Re: Problem with buttons in Dialog box

    What does the window declaration look like for this dialog box?

    You can always send a TypeKeys() with the selection you want. Either a hot key, or, the enter button for the default. Ignore the fact that it can't see them.

    Re: Problem with buttons in Dialog box

    I have similar problem (under XP) -
    if I test if the button is enabled
    if parent.button.IsEnabled()
    :
    parent.button.click()

    silk would fail at the IsEnabled. So how do I see if my button is enabled?

    If nothing else works, you can use coordinates to click the button and then if nothing happens, it's disabled.
