Getting started with Silk Test 5.5

    Hi,

Can anybody help a novice like me on getting started with SilkTest 5.5?
I have a VC based application to test on client-server mode.

Any help will be really appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Parag.

    1. Get to know your application andtestcases
    2. Record window declarations
    3. Create testcases or functions to do your work
    4. Text
    5. Look at the results

The documentation included with SilkTest has very good documentation for this.

Getting some good training will help get you going. You can spend a lot of time reading the manuals, but taking a course or getting some direct consulting can help you focus in on the things you need to know first, and get productive quickly. There is a training forum that can help you, or click on the link below.
