Re: How to use precompiled INO files in silktest

    Your technique is correct.

I think you need to check for compatible versions of SilkTest. If the .ino was create with SilkTest 5.0.3, it might not work with 5.5 (and vice-versa).

Re: How to use precompiled INO files in silktest

how do I know the version of the 4test compiler used to create the ino file. Is that possible. If the ino files are version dependent then distributing ino files as "ready solutions" looks to be plain stupid to me.

How to use precompiled INO files in silktest

    at this location http://www.ameliortech.com/stuff/too...ct.htm#classes

I found a precompiled file (.ino file) which I want to use in a project of mine. The instructions say that I need to drop the ino file in a directory where silktest can find it. Then I need to add a

    use "filename.inc"

in the 4test program where filename.ino is the name of the ino file.

I am getting errors during compilation. SilkTest says that it cannot find the inc file. Am i missing something or is using precompiled ino files not possible. Pls advice

Re: How to use precompiled INO files in silktest

I agree that it is stupid. It is one of those things that Segue has never officially supported. I suggest that you contact AmeliorTech and ask them what version they used to create it.

Remember that if you integrate their .ino into your testware, you will probably need to purchase AmeliorTech's library source code at some point ...
