K.S. that grammer comment was uncalled for.

Bob, the best way is to go through the User Guide, follow the tutorial, read through the 4Test functions and ask lots of questions. This forum is a great avenue for that. The best way is to try and convince your boss to attend Segue Training. I do not know of any online courses.

Hmm, I interpreted that to mean "syntax" but I'm probably wrong.

    Bob,

In addition to both previous responses, pick an applicaton, any application and just start writing some basic scripts against it. As you get comfortable with the basics of SilkTest, how it operates, etc. start doing more complex tasks with it. It is an incredibly powerful tool.

Also, under the Help menu you will find the Library Browser. This is one of the finest features of SilkTest. I lived in that thing for the first couple of years and still find myself referring back to it for various tasks I want to perform.

Finally, when you have specific issues and questions, come here, perform a keyword search and read, read, read. This site is a gold mine of information. If you can't find your answer with a search, post a new question. Someone here likely knows the answer.

    Good luck.
