    JavaJFCPageList question

Hopefully this is a simple problem to solve I am having.

I have a JavaJFCPageList which I can add and delete tabs. The question I have is I want to select a tab so I do.

    APPLICATION.PageList.Select("Inbox")

then I want to right click on the Tab and cannot seem to figure out how. I tried

    APPLICATION.PageList.Click(2)
but it clicks the top right corner or the pagelist window and does not click the tab at all

When I do record actions it just shows me
    APPLICATION.PageList.Select("Inbox")
even thought I am clicking with the right mouse button.

    Can anyone help..
    Thanks
    Tim

    Re: JavaJFCPageList question

    Try this.

    Application.PageList.Select("YourTab")
At this point, your mouse should be over the pagelist titled "Your tab" If not, the rest will not work. Now, get the XY coordinates of the mouse relative to the screen, now we know where the pagelist is located. Now find the correct function to RIGHT click on the desktop given a x,y point.
I am not trying to be vague, it's I just dont have the syntax in front of me.

    Re: JavaJFCPageList question

    Pontoriero,
Thanks for the tip, but I have tried the following
    APPLICATION.PageList.Select("TAB")
    p = Cursor.GetPosition()
    APPLICATION.Click(2, p.x, p.y)

The problem is that when I do the select method for the pagelist it does not move the cursor and click the tab it just changes to the tab so therefor the cursor is not over the tab I need..

Any other ideas, can anyone else have, I just want to be able to select a tab, which i can do, but then click with the button(2) which i cannot get done.

    Thanks
    Tim

    Re: JavaJFCPageList question

I don't recall why I had to do this, but several years ago I was trying something similar in order to get the right click popupmenu and had to declare a winclass in my inc file of that type in order for it to work. Something similar to this...

    winclass RightClickPopupMenu : PopupMenu

I'm sorry I don't recall more about it, but that might give you a direction to go.
