    WinXP and SilkTest 5.5 problems

    Here are some of the problems I encountered running on WinXP with ST 5.5.

    1)"Window.Maximize()" does not work.
    2)TaskBar access does not work.
    3)SilkTest crashes. I get this dialog about "Sending Report" to Microsoft.

    What are other known problems out there and does anybody know any workaround or when Segue will resolve these issues? When will XP be fully supported by Segue?

    Thanks.

    Re: WinXP and SilkTest 5.5 problems

    I find that if I change my desktop to use Classic Windows style, I run just fine under XP. XP is supposed to be supported some time this quarter.

    Actually SP2 is supposed to be released today but is not on their web site yet. This is supposed to provide XP support

    Re: WinXP and SilkTest 5.5 problems

    Tony is correct. SilkTest 5.5 SP2 was released yesterday and is available for download by all maintenance customers. This release contains full support for Windows XP, whereas SilkTest prior to 5.5 SP2 only supported Classic theme within XP. (That is why SilkTest worked well for Tony on XP but not for newbie27.)

    Cheers!
