Setup SilkTest using Java Web Start
The application I am testing gets loaded using Java Web Start. SilkTest help setup says you have to put the Java Web Start .exe file in the extensions enabler and put the SilkTest_Java2.jar file in the JRE\lib\ext directory. When I do that all works fine and all the objects of my application are getting recorded using Record->window declarations.
The problem I was wondering, is I need to use InvokeJava and maybe InvokeMethods functions and I have been told from previous post that the functions don't work if you have the SilkTest_Java2.jar file in the JRE\lib\ext directory.
My Question is does anyone use Java Web Start and been successful getting the application to record(be recognized). I have the classpath with the \JavaEx directory and SilkTest_Java2.jar file.
Any information will be helpfull. I have access to the jar files for the application.
Thanks for your time and help
