    I have a situation
    10 testcases to be executed
    while executing these testcases the browser crashed (say 5th)
    Now I need to restart the browser and start from the 5th test case and complete the rest of test cases
    How Do I do it ???

    Use the famous SilkTest recovery system. The best way to perform multiple testcases is to bring the AUT down between each one and then bring it up and drive it to the point of the next testcase with default base state and application states. Silk help files and books that came with the tool will give you a better understanding of these concepts than I could ever do in a message forum.

    call a function like this after every testcase...
    [-] void RestartBrowser (REAL WaitTime)
    [-] if (Browser.Exists())
    [ ] Browser.SetActive()
    [ ] Browser.Close()
    [ ] sleep(WaitTime)
    [ ] Browser.Invoke()
    [ ] Browser.SetActive()

    Same idea as the others.

    Launch testcase from command line and in a loop(or just a batch of commands). This way silk is opened and closed for each testcase. This will increase chance of success.

    Also declare these functions to manage your browser before and after the testcase.
    TestcaseExit (BOOLEAN bException)
    TestcaseEnter ()
    More discussion about this in this forum exists.
