InvokeJava example JTreeGetText, cannot get to work, has anybody

    Hello.
I am trying to run the InvokeJava testcase examples that come with SilkTest on the JFC11 test application. I have done the java2 edits to the JTreeGetText.java and compiled. (javac JTreeGetText.java) which makes a JTreeGetText.class file located in the JavaEx\ directory. Everytime I run the testcases I get {FALSE, class not loaded: JTreeGetText}.. I have modified the batch file to load the JFC11 Test Application
("C:\jdk131_02\jre\bin\java" -classpath ".;%SEGUE_HOME%\JavaEx\SilkTest_Java2.jar;%SEGUE_H OME%\JavaEx" ta %1) This should overwrite my system classpath which I have the same info in anyway. I load the application using the bat file and run the testcases which do everything but return false for the InvokeJava statement.. What am i Missing, any ideas..

You need to write a "wrapper" because you can't make a direct Java call. Check out the attachment. Enjoy.

Re: InvokeJava example JTreeGetText, cannot get to work, has anybody

Thanks.. I will work with it.. I am having trouble because I am using Java Web Start to start my application and i need to include the SilkTest_Java2.jar file in the jre\lib\ext directory, and I am hearing invokeJava will not work if I have the SilkTest_Java2.jar in the JRE\lib\ext.

    Thanks

Try using invokeMethods. The object that you call on needs to be visible and the methods that you call need to be public. I don't believe that it matters that the silk jar file is in lib/ext.
