    Help getting methods to use

    Hello..
    I hope I can make this clear.
    The java standalone application I am testing has an object which SilkTest recognizes as a JavaJFCTable. The problem is that the developers have extended the class which is GTreeTable extend JTable. It is a Table which has been extended to be a tree grid table. The problem I am having is that when SilkTest declares it as a JFCTable I can click Cells and even double click the first cell to collapse and expland.. but I cannot get the first cell value, something to do with the tree.. Can I Get JFCTree methods to work on the Table so i can use collapse, expand, rowcount, and other tree methods. Can anyone give me any insight.. InvokeMethods maybe?

    Thanks for your time and help
    Tim

    Re: Help getting methods to use

    If a class is extended and its natural methods are not destroyed u should be able to use all methods. I use the following code to get cellinfo

    TABLECELL cellno
    [ ] cellno = {4, 2}
    [ ] ANYTYPE aContents
    [ ] aContents = JavaMainWin("Scenario Result").JavaJFCPageList("#1").JavaJFCTable("#2"). GetCellValue(cellno)
    [ ] print (aContents)

    Re: Help getting methods to use

    Im sorry, I might have not been real clear. I grid which which is basically a JTable. But what the developers did was incorporate a add a JTree to it. So when I do a GetCellValue() works fine, except when I do it on the first column, where the JTree is. I am just curious if I can use methods which have been written for the custom Table,,

    Thanks
