    As I understand it iValue is a Writeable properity. I can read it but I do not know how to write to the property. Any help?

    Use
    GetPropertyList :get the list of property on a control
    GetProperty : get individual property if you know the name of property.
    SetProperty :write property value

    Re: How do I set the iValue property in the PopupList Class

    SetProperty is not working for iValue - I am executing the following code

    i = addShelf_lv.PopupList1.iValue
    Print (Str(i))
    addShelf_lv.PopupList1.SetProperty("iValue", 3)
    i = addShelf_lv.PopupList1.iValue
    Print (Str(i))

    The first print gives me the current iValue
    The SetProperty statement generates an error.

    What am I doing wrong?

    ivalue for popuplist is neither method nor a property. U may be getting first i value print because u would have initialized i in yr code

    Re: How do I set the iValue property in the PopupList Class

    iValue is a property of PopupList:

    iValue property

    Class

    ComboBox class, ListBox class, PopupList class, RadioList class, Scale class, ScrollBar class, UpDown class

    Description

    For ComboBox, ListBox class, PopupList, or RadioList, the index of the selected item.
    For Scale, ScrollBar, or UpDown, the integer position of the control.

    Data type

    INTEGER

    Access

    Read and write

    ---------------

    rogergarner:

    Your property name is wrong I believe. iValue is a property but it's not the name of the property Do a GetPropertyList() on your PopupList and find the correct property name.
