    ListBox with CheckBox - How do I get the CheckBox State

    User liparig_sf (liparig@autodesk.com.nospam) posted:

    Hi,
    I am trying to get the state of a checkbox inside a ListBox control
    (which has a checkbox on the left and then text on the right on each
    row). I also cannot see the Checkbox when trying to declare the
    window and I cannot find out the state of the checkbox in any way?

    Is there a way I can get the state of the check box just like the
    CheckBox class GetState() function?

    did you try IsChecked? or use property functions. Do a GetPropertyList () to check what is available then do GetProperty("propertyName"); there is a variable called bChecked which is probably used by IsChecked.

    I dont think they are really checkboxes,though they appear to be.Try to
    compare conventional checkboxes and the one u r trying to declare.
    You can even try mapping to either Checkbox or Listbox and then use
    corresponding methods.
    If this doesnot work ,then u hv to use coordinates to check or uncheck a
    particular checkbox.

    Try GetItemImageIndex method. Look it up in the online help for details. This works for me.
