    Comparing a cell value on a table containing a picture

    Hello,
    In our Java application there is a table which contain some columns which display pictures(bitmaps). Is there anyway to get the image and compare it to a saved one. Will the Bitmap tool work for that?.

    Re: Comparing a cell value on a table containing a picture

    I am also facing with the same problem (Grid not recognized ). I have to test the data which exists in rows and columns. Some columns does have check boxes, List Boxes etc. and I have to verify the data of the grid with the data exists in Flat/Excel file.

    Can any one suggest the solution please...
    thanks in advance

    tfaron:

    Easiest way:
    Disable table recognition first(search forum for that)

    To save:
    CaptureBitmap (sBitmapFile [, Rect])

    To compare:

    SYS_CompareBinary() or SYS_CompareBitmap()

    I am not too sure how they work, but they seem obvious. Just use what they give you they should work well together.

    I also suggest to use browserpage.GetImages( ) then right click on the image you want then save the image. You might need to do somework for the save dialog box.

    One possible problem is that you don't get the images you want.

    Another way(more work) parse the html source file for the image link. Once you found what you want you can access it using HtmlImage().Click()
