Can you explain the objectives a bit in details? Which window variable do you want to put it into and why?
Do you want to capture the Window Identifier and then place it in a [list of window] or an outside file?

    Try using:

    window wActive = Desktop.GetActive ()

This will give you the currently active main window (ie application).

    Hope this helps,

    Use WINDOW w = Desktop.GetActive (), or WINDOW w = wMainwindow.GetActive ()

    Hope this helps.
