    I imagine you would need a more advanced movie editor that will let you go to a specific frame or time reference. Then you could just use the UI of the movie editor to open your file, go to the correct frame, and do the comparison. I don't think media player or any other "standard" players have such a feature.

    Extracting Frames Out of a Media Player

    Hi

    I am trying to create bitmaps out of a movie file and compare them against a set of baseline bitmaps. I was wondering if there was a way to write a script to tell a media player (ie windows media player) to go to a specific location in the movie and then do a bitmap capture of that frame.
