IE crashes when running my silktest script

    User jeffavaya (jeffreygreen@avaya.com.nospam) posted:

Has anyone had experience where IE crashes while running a silktest
script. I am on Windows 2000 platform running IE 5.5. It seems when I
run my script I got a popup message that an error has occurred with
IE and it needs to restart IE

    Hi,

    Happy New Year.

This could be related to IE setup. R u using VO or DOm extensions. Chnage the extension and see. I did not experience similar behaviour so far.

I got the same problem while working with IE 5.0 browser.
Even in declaration time, I got the Dr. watson error and
    the IE crashes.

I think the problem is with the files called by silktest
    during the runtime.

In the problem you stated, I think that in silktest's
latest version will solve the issue since it has the
support for the IE 5.0 and above.

Turn on the option Fault trapping and you should not see it anymore
