    Hi Manish,

    The best way to learning SILK would be to use the help in the SILK TEST.

    Start off with automating a siompel notepad application and make changes in the automated script .

    U can easily make changes such as copy the dat in the note pad and then pasting it again . this exercise wil help u understand what Silk does when you perform keystroke inputs to the application.

    Also try understand the file archtitecture of Silk I mean Frame files Function Files and Script files

    Beleve me i think the help section of Silk Test is one of the best i have ever seen untill now

    Its an excellent site if you wanna start learning SilkTest .
    It prooved very useful to me .

    And Keep reading the posts on this site .
    You will find solutions to most of the problems you get here .
    And yes the Silk Test Help .It has code snippets which you could reuse .

    giving the following details:
