Silk Test and OCX File ...
I have a custom control which is a OCX file. Does Silk Test can talk to this OCX file similar to a DLL? If not how do I access the methods in the OCX.
Re: Silk Test and OCX File ...
SilkTest can not talk directly to an OCX control. It must first be loaded into an application. An easy way to do this is to create a VB app with a single form that has the control on it. If there is no GUI in the OCX, then you will still need to create a VB app, however, it will need to be able load the OCX needed and translate the I/O from your script to the OCX.
Another option is to create a script (VB or Java) that will access the OCX and write the results to a file. From the automation script you can execute the VB / Java script then open and review the results once the execution is completed.
