    reading XL spreadsheet

    Hi!
    I'm receiving error message:
*** Error: (IM002) [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified ***
while try to connect to XL spreadsheet from Silk Test script. All specific settings of ODBC and Data Source are made.
    OS Windows 2000.
    Silk Test 5.03.
    Anybody can help?

    Thanks,
    Sergei

    Re: reading XL spreadsheet

Well, that error is just what it says: it can't find the data source you're specifying in your script. The connect string should look something like this:
Spelling is important. If your DSN is "My_DB," the above won't work.

If you're still having problems, you may want to read the paper at <a href=http://www.ameliortech.com/stuff/toolkits/ST/st_whpap.htm>this site</a>.

    Re: reading XL spreadsheet

    Thanks, Dave.
However, just the document you pointed in your message I followed (very carefully) while was trying to connect to XL file from Silk.
Maybe this error (IM002) caused by wrong interaction between Silk 5.0.3 and Win2000? Driver names or anything else?
    What do you think?
