    Displays: Unable to open *.res

I am unable to execute the testcases
from the Test plan. If I mark the testcases
& try to run them, the error message appears
stating: Unable to open the file1.res.
Thanks in advance for all the help.

Did file1.res somehow get marked as Read-Only?

Re: Displays: Unable to open *.res

I seem to remember a problem like this. Look to see if there is a file of the same name but with extension .jou. If there is delete it and try again.

I've also come across this. I believe I could shut down Silk and bring it back up to correct the problem. You can also try deleting the file manually if it exists.

Re: Displays: Unable to open *.res

I see the problem if I try to run 2 or more
plans in a Test Plan. i.e trying to have
Sub plans in a Master plan & executing it.

1.The files are not read only files.
    2. I did restart the Silk , No luck!!!

    Thanks

    Thanks Brian,
    After deleting .jou files
I was able to execute the scripts from the Testplan.
