Is Generic Scripts possible through Silk Test??
We are just started evaluating SilkTest for our project. So far we are recording all window declarations and then proceeding to write a script. So, according to my knowledge, script is tightly coupled with the Application under test. Is that true??
Consider my application is web based application where it has nearly 50 web pages and each web page with minimum of 20 controls, and my requirement is to generate a report with all edit controls and its size of the control. How to achieve this through SilkTest?? Is it possible to do this??
Is it possible to get the information on controls dynamically??

Yes, you can. Use BrowserPage.GetChildren(), then enumerate all children elements, print the rect if it is a classof Edit
