    problem with a popup menu

    i am working with an application that has a menu embedded in a rebar or toolbar. now, my problem is when i hover on the menuitems (e.g. File Edit View, etc) while recording windows declaration, the menu items are not seen uniquely. the entire toolbar is seen as a radiolist.

    i am hoping to find a workaround in at least being able to select the submenuitems. when i record a class, i get this
    DialogBox("Application").PopupStart("").MenuItem(" Export|$35053")
    Now, I attempted to add tags to my windows declaration for the menuitems but that didn't work unless I did something wrong. The other thing I tried is create simple script as below
    testcase test()
    DialogBox("Application").PopupStart("").MenuItem(" Export|$35053"). Pick()

    it didn't work either. anyone out there who could help me. it's greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance!!!

    Re: problem with a popup menu

    If you actually click a menu item from the "radio list" and then leave it, does it collapse, or does it stay expanded so you can see the sub-menus?

    If it stays expanded and you record declarations on the sub-menu items, what does Silk see?

    Actually, when I click on a menu item from the radio list and then leave it, it gets expanded and the submenus show up.

    When I tried to record the declarations on the submenu items, SilkTest does see them as menu items.
