    Record declaration error !

For some reason, It's keep on giving error message. I declared record data type of string and integer, inside testcase, It's giving error.

[-] testcase GetData () appstate none
    [ ]
    [ ]
    [ ] DB_DATA dData
    [-] type DB_DATA is record
    [ ] STRING sName
    [ ] INTEGER iAge
    [ ]
    [ ]

Later, when I tried declaraing outside of testcase, again, It doesn't work. Any help on how can I declare record ?

    Re: Record declaration error !

    You're doing two things wrong.
    1. You're declaring a variable of a user-defined data type before you have defined the data type.
    2. Per Segue (online help topic "type ... is record declaration"), "Data type declarations must appear outside of any function." Underneath, Segue is probably implementing testcases and appstates as functions, so I gather they may be trying to say that you can't define a data type inside a testcase.

I tried declaraing out side testcase, as you wrote, even though it's not working.

    Re: Record declaration error !

You must reference them as "dData.sName" and "dData.iAge"

BTW, I'm generally addressed as "goddess" rather than "sir."
