    Re: Problem in Java Tree!!!

Could you provide a little more detail?

What does the declaration look like in both instances? What error message is returned by SilkTest?

    Re: Problem in Java Tree!!!

    Example of 2 java Trees
    1) Root : Price
    Root1: FS
    Node : XYZ

    2) Root : Deals
    Node : Download/upload

In the above example 1) The java tree recorded as "Price/FS/XYZ" (Root/Root1/Node). While play back it identified the object

    Same time the 2nd tree recorded as "Deals/Download/upload" (Root/Node) . while play back it looks for (Root(deals) / Root1(Download) / Node(upload).....

Bcoz "/" used to identify the roots/subroots and nodes!!!!

    -----------------------
    JavaTree.select ("Deals/Download/Upload")
    -----------------------
    Error : Obj Not found

Anyway i sloved this probs in another way

    -------------------
    JavaTree.Expand("Deals")
    JavaTree.TypeKeys("Down")-->"To locate Download/Upload"
    ----------------
    It works!!!!!

Thanks Mr.Zarehk for the immediate response

    Re: Problem in Java Tree!!!

If the problem is a item with a "/" in it, it's a know issue with SILK. You can also try substitution the "/" with a "?" or find (someone on the board) or write a routine that dumps the tree to a list then traverse to the node you want with your own logic.

Good Luck, it seems your solution is good too.
