    is this test tool ok

    is the silk tool suitable for testing a distributed stand alone application using java swings,corba running on linux platform.Not used in browsers at present.If so then the details and the experience of the users will be helpful !

    If the testing needs to take place on the linux platform, then SilkTest will not work. If the java application is ran on a windows platform, then it will work.

    Why.. your right. Yes, you could do that.

    So, I retract my previous message ramnath, you should be able to test your java program on the linux system.

    No Corba, but have done Swing and AWT.

    Be advised the silkbean does NOT support Symantec Foundation Classes. Learned that the hard way.

    There is little documentation on the bean. Nothing in the hardcopy. Use the online help and you should be okay.
