    Hello Friends,

I want to clear content of textfield. I have used ClearText(). But it does not clear the text field.

I tried SetSelRange() TypeKeys("<Delete>") .It Select text from 2nd character.

Does anyone have solution for same?

    Re: Clear a text field

    TypeKeys("<Ctrl-Home>")
    TypeKeys("<Ctrl-Shift-End>")
    TypeKeys("<Delete>")

    Then Will this work

    TypeKeys(" Ctrl-A ")
    TypeKeys(" Delete ")

    Re: Clear a text field

Set Focus to the text field first and then use ClearText.

    Eg:
    Window.SetFocus ()
    Window.ClearText ()

    Re: Clear a text field

You can also double click on the field and then SetText to "".

    Re: Clear a text field

After trying some of the above, I have settled for the following :

    Texfield.Clear ()
    Textfield.SetText ("Whatever text u need")
