    highlighted by the cursor?

    GetSelText() will give you that for a textfield.

    Is that what you need?

    SilkTest: Verify text is highlighted

    Need to know of a way of verifying that certain text is highlighted, using Segue SilkTest.

    Re: SilkTest: Verify text is highlighted

    If you're talking about verifying that something in a TextField (or HtmlTextField) is highlighted, then Brian was right.

    In theory, a TextField's contents should be entirely selected when the TextField gets the focus, so here's a method that I've added to my TextField class in a number of areas:

    Note: I just "scribbled" the above here, didn't go find my enhanced TextField class. May need some modifications for a multi-line TextField object.

    Re: SilkTest: Verify text is highlighted

    Then what you want to use is the IsBold() method:

    bBold = textfield.IsBold()

    bBold will be TRUE if the textfield object is bold.

    Also, look up in the SilkTest Help, the phrase text fields: checking for bold. This will have info on checking for other things as well.
