    I am getting problem regarding URL related / Script

    Hi All,

    I am using slik software 5.0.3.2.
    I writen test script Browser related GUI.
    Scipt is working fine, When I use the following url: http://localhost:7001/test_admin
    Script is not working, When I use the following url: http://localhost:7001/default.sph/PB...***/test_admin

    What is the reason? is any thing i need to mention url length...

    Then I changed my scipt "images path"
    http:??*?default.sph?PBInvoker.class?Templates?Ima ges?test.gif like this...
    when i copy this url into browser working fine and i run the silk test script that time not working?

    I don't see any obvious reason why that url should be invalid. When you say the script "doesn't work" what does that mean? Is the url being passed properly to the browser?

    I'd define that url as a variable if you have not done so already, then set a breakpoint and look at the actual value of that variable as it is passed to the browser.

    Like DJGray, I guess I'm a little unclear on the problem unless it's that SilkTest is not loading the correct page into the browser.

    If you're properly using a frame file, SilkTest's recovery system will attempt to load the URL that's specified in the main window that's specified in the wMainWindow variable. That is...

    In order for the recovery system to load a new page by default(such as when the web site moves), you merely need to change the sLocation value.

    Of course, if this has nothing to do with your problem, please clarify.

    Not that I'm readily aware of. I've used localhost, IP addresses, ASP, JHTML, weird URL's with GET parameters passed in....
