    Installing DOM on Silk 5.0.3

Can you activate the DOM extensions only if you select them during the installation of Silk? I was under the impression that when you select the browser during setup there should be a option to select IE 5 DOM, instead of just Internet Explorer and Netscape.

I have added the DOM extension and enabled them on the extension enabler, and within Silk --> Options --> Extensions. Also the Primary extension for IE 5.0 was changed to IE DOM from Virtual Object. Also I selected IE 5.0 DOM as the default browser.

But when I run my scripts I still get the error that the domex.dll is not installed. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks,

After making changes to your choices in the Extension Enabler you need to close Silk Test and reopen it for the changes to take affect.

Re: Installing DOM on Silk 5.0.3

    Hi ,

I am finding problem after that. Silk is unable to capture the GUI components on the web page. When I am capturing the Window for creating Include File, though it is creating the window but it does not have any of the GUI objects in Include File.

    The ENVIRONMENT is - WinNT 4 with SP6 , Silk 5.0.3, IE 5.5

Will anyone help me with what I should get to resolve this issue?

    Thanks
