    TRAPPING ASSERTION

How should I go about trapping the assertions. Can I do a specified action after assertion occours. I mean besides clearing that dialog can I print the message in the assertion dialog.

If I am using SetTrap does that mean if that message appears in a test that test will fail?

    Re: TRAPPING ASSERTION

By assertions I'm assuming the warning dialog boxes that can show in a product in development.....

You can use the SetTrap method to look for and close these dialogs as they come up. You can either just have the dialog dismissed by defining which button to press when it appears and the test will continue on, or you can have it dismiss the dialog and log an error with custom text of your choice.
