    Problem with HtmlRadioList

    Hi
My application has a radiolist with 5 values and few textboxes. When i enter valid values in the textboxes it recognizes all 5-radio button values. If I enter invalid data in the textboxes I get error page. From that page when I try to enter the new data it recognizes all 5-radio buttons as one. Is it an application problem?
Is there any way to avoid this? I tried to select the items. But it recognizes all items based on the index.(#1,#2..)
I did refresh my browser also.
    I am using Silk5.0.3.1. Win2K.

    mansri,

I'm a little foggy on the exact details of your question, but I can tell you that by default in Silk, radio lists are viewed as a single entity, and you specify which item in that single list you want selected by indicating its caption, or the descriptive text following it. Now, you can turn that quality off and have the list items viewed individually.

    Re: Problem with HtmlRadioList

    Hi DJGray,
My problem is, it records first time as

    Register.SendEmailsToNotifyMe.Select("#1")
    Register.SendEmailsToNotifyMe.Select("#2")
    Register.SendEmailsToNotifyMe.Select("#3")
    Register.SendEmailsToNotifyMe.Select("#4")

    Second time it records as
    Register.SendEmailsToNotifyMe.Select("#1")
    Register.SendEmailsToNotifyMe.Select("#1")
    Register.SendEmailsToNotifyMe.Select("#1")
    Register.SendEmailsToNotifyMe.Select("#1")

If I try to select item '#2' I am getting item was not found error.

    Re: Problem with HtmlRadioList

I had some similar problems in the past.
You can check a setting to treat radiolists as independant objects.
    It lives under:
    go to the options tab>Agent>Compatibility
and check the box that says dont group radiobuttons into a list.
    This may help.

    Re: Problem with HtmlRadioList

    Hi James,
I am using Excel Spreadsheet and picking the data from the sheet. I want to uncheck that agent option. So that I can check the radio button based on the value that I pick from the excel file.
It was working fine for another application. I am getting problem with the new application.

    Re: Problem with HtmlRadioList

    try:
    Agent.SetOption (OPT_RADIO_LIST, FALSE)
    RadioButton ("#1").SetState (TRUE)
    RadioButton ("#2").SetState (TRUE)
    RadioButton ("#3").SetState (TRUE)
    RadioButton ("#4").SetState (TRUE)
    Agent.SetOption (OPT_RADIO_LIST, TRUE)

This way it will only 'ungroup' the radio list for a short time.

    Re: Problem with HtmlRadioList

    Hi jamesso,
RadioButton class does not have the SetState method. Only CheckBox class does.
I am getting "Function SetState is not defined for window RadioButton."
