    Get Title Bar size

    Does anyone know of a way to retrieve the title bar size set in the windows Display Properties or what the title bar size of the current active window is? I looked in the registry and was unable to see anything in there. I was not able to find any API calls that would do this either.

    BTW - This would be for a NT4.0 or Win2k machine.

    The title bar should be the same size of the the window itself, so get the size of the window.

    I'm referring to the height of the titlebar. Not the Length.

    You should be able to use GetRect on the Caption part of the window, assuming that it's inherited from the MoveableWin class (such as a MainWin, DialogBox, ChildWin). All instances of such classes have parts. Look up MoveableWin class in the SilkTest help file.

    Here's an example with the standard Calculator program that ships with Windows:
