    Hello Friends,

I am using SilkTest 5.0.3 for testing a standalone application. I just want to know call functions in plan files and if yes, how?

    Re: Plan files

    Prathibha,

Generally plan is to organize the way u execute your testcases from different test script files. Open up a plan file and observe the change in the menus. Open up a sample plan and its quite self explanatory. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Re: Plan files

You can call functions from testplans.

    Just specify:

    script: test.t
    testcase: functiongoeshere

You can even specify the main () to run from a testplan.

    Hope this helps.

    Re: Plan files

Don't forget to take advantage of the new testplanenter and testplanexit functions for handling global variables......
