    Window create notifications in SilkTest

    Hi gang,
I wonder if SilkTest allows you to capture error messages the way Visual Test does with it's On WindowCreate notification. Is there also any way to capture error pages the same way?
    Thanks.

I'm trying to understand your question, but here's a guess at it,

    You can say:

    if DialogBox("Warning/[StaticText]Oops, somtheing went wrong/..").Exists ()
    Do something

So that's the way you account for a warning,

You can also set a trap for it...

I hope that helps, else please tell me what you're trying to do exactly (psudocode)

Well that's not exactly what I'm looking for. Consider that you don't know where an error message (Assertion or system error)occurs. And you've got to handle it some specific way depending on the error. In Visual Test you are able to get notified of any window invokes you specify before the script execution.

You can then SetTrap () for that message dialog.

DialogBox("Warning/[StaticText]Oops, something went wrong/..").SetTrap ("What to Click")
