    Wishlist in future Silktest release

Hi, Here are my wishlist for Silktest GUI improvment.

    1. Project file, so I can wrap all my files, also there is a file list that can help me navigate around the Include files.

    2. Intellisense, I cannot remember all those function parameters and class inheritance.

    3. Something similiar or even better than GUI map.

    My list:

    1)fix the HtmlPopupList crash
    2)fix the DOM/VO switching crash
3)present better java appelet recognition and tutorials
4)import all windows .dll that silk can support. It's time-consuming but it's so good to brag about it for silk and helpfull for us(save us time)
5)add more server/client connectivity functions. remote access.
    6)solaris/hp support
    7)dynamic silk environment variable change.

I think I'd have to go for an undo/redo history, because I'm all too often deleting lines I don't want to, then having to retype it later.

I would also like Segue to send in Buffy to give me a personal demonstration of the new version

Re: Wishlist in future Silktest release

I would be happy if they just fix the regression bugs they have added in with the last hot fixes!

For one of our products (web based - HTML), SilkTest is completely useless. It can't find the [Browse] button that is associated with the HTML input type=file.

To be fair, they did give me a fix for that. Cool. Except that they then broke the ability to click on a link when multiple tables are on a page (SilkTest "thinks" it clicks on the link, but doesn't).

I don't want more features, I want a product that will work and be stable. Quality is what counts here

    1. Intellisense, I 2nd that motion.

    2. Not sure what the catch phrase is, but the ability to edit code in debug mode and continue, "edit and continue"?

    3. Docakable windows for debugging.

    4. How about an object browser to go with the locals and globals windows.

Does it sound like I want it to look and feel like Dev Studio? Yes, that's exactly what I want!

I like the idea of editable debug mode, like in VB. flip the key function of F5 and F9 so they work like in VC++

Why is MS's product so appealing...:P sigh

I like the infinite undo/redo but I would also like to see wheelmouse support.

Wow. What a great list. I'm in agreement with everything that is on there and would echo "Better Java Support!!" It's so loose and unreliable. I'd also like to see Silk be intelligent enough to know the VM it is working with and select it's own Java#.jar file with no user intervention.
