    Invoking a web based application

    Hello Friends,

I am trying to write testcases for an web based application. when I tried to record the DefaultBaseState I am getting an Error saying
"Errors occured while setting application state 'DefaultBaseState'.these errors must be fixed before recording."
If anybody is having already developed script which can solve this problem please send it to me or let me know the solution.

    Thanks and regards,
    Pratibha

Re: Invoking a web based application

Well, what are the errors? Is the browser being launched? Is the browser active? Is the URL that's in the wMainWin window declaration loaded? Is it the right URL? Is some window popping up that's affecting the DBS from running properly?

I got this error too. Later I figured out it was due to bad installation. Try uninstalling and reinstalling Silk again. Remember to follow all the instructions of Silk for uninstalaltion.

    Hope this helps!!!

Re: Invoking a web based application

    couple fo reasons for this.

Make sure that you have a valid browser type on Options Runtime

You have a frame file created with the valid url of the aweb application which is your starting url of the application.

I did not see any installation issues initially however Silkis known for these kind of non recognition issues and sometimes re installing will take it away.
