Is any one getting problem with HOTFIX3

    I am using Silk 5.5,on Win 2000.
I installed Hotfix1,2,3. After installing Hotfix3,Ie 5.5 was hanging all time. While Recording new OR playing back old (PASS) testcases all Objects names were recocgnized wrong. Segue tech support had a solution to uninstall Fix3.As there is no Uninstall for Fix3,they suggest to uninstall and install SilkTes.

Another Problem: After installing HotFix3,Frame file has to redefine again,so all test cases should also.

We are not experiencing your problem. It is true that there is no uninstall for hotfix 3, and there never will be one.

Have you tried installing SilkTest 5.5 and hotfix 3, and bypassing hotfixes 1 and 2? There may have been some interoperability problems there, although the install notes are a little vague.

I don't know what your specific problem(s) are, but you might try looking at your .ini files before and after the hotfix 3 installation. Maybe there's something in there that will explain why your declarations have changed. Sorry I can't be of more help than that.
