    How to determine the TypeOf a variable (native types) when its


    I'm attempting to fill in a simple user defined type based on the field data types. But the TypeOf function throws an exception whenever the field (native types only) are <unset>.

    How can I determine the field types without them being initialized?

    I'm not sure that this solution will solve your problems but if you change your source like following I think it works better.
