What is wrong with following code?

When I try to run the testcase, silk test is crashing.

Can not figure out the problem.

At which line is the script crashing? Can you paste the error message (and even the full call-stack) here from the results file to give us some more information?

If it is really SilkTest that is crashing, then the problem is in Silk. It should never crash.

    Call segue support.

    Hi,

I get a dialogbox, saying "can not read from address #....." click ok to close the applicatio or click Cancel to debug.

If I choose OK then, it closes the silk test.

Some of the old Microsoft ODBC drivers are incompatible with SilkTest. Look for an update from Microsoft.

Other than that, what OS and service pack are you running ? What version of SilkTest ? What ODBC driver ?
